Sometimes a client will possess a computer that is antiquated or needs extensive repair. In these cases, I recommend replacement. If the client needs assistance finding a computer that would suit their needs, I will meet with the client and listen to their requirements. I will help them find a computer that will suit their needs, wants, and budget. I may make software and component recommendations as well. For more complicated purchases, I may create a written proposal. I am also willing to meet with the client at a retail store to ensure their purchase goes smoothly.* Some clients have special requirements. In these instances, I will recommend a computer manufacturer that will build the computer to the client’s specifications and I will assist the client with the selection of parts for the purchase.**
